Quick Clamp Light Mod

This is a modification for a 300mm Irwin quick clamp to make a portable and stable desk light holder.

I made the part in openSCAD using the Round-Anything library and some home-made helper functions.

Materials

1. Irwin 300mm Quick Clamp
2. Ikea Tertial desk light

Please note the clamp head will require a high infill percentage (I used 80% and printed in PLA).

As you are modifying some pre-bought goods; you could be voiding warranty.

Assembly

1. Disassemble the quick clamp, removing the bolt, nut and rubber foot
2. Use the bolt, nut and rubber foot to attach the new clamp head
3. Mount the clamp to something and put in your light.
