Introducing The NexGen 3D CleanAir Filtration System.

This is based on the popular Nevermore system, the CleanAir instead has a unibody with a large chamber for activated carbon pellets, or filter medium of choice, has a single m3 bolt holding the lid in place and is designed to slide of allowing you to replace the filter medium.

The mounting system is designed for 2020 Extrusion and is an easy release system, the mount is very solid, and the entire filter system locks in and is secured with a single 14mm M3 Bolt.

I have made this unit more rigid and has better sealing, its easier to print, no supports needed, and the entire housing is just 3 parts.

Although I appreciate the original concept, I found the part alignment not the best and leaked air, the housing was a little flimsy in places, I wasn't a big fan of the magnetic filter setup and all the various STL's, F3D's and STEP files scattered made it really hard to figure out what one needed to print, so I used the Plenum chamber and the front mesh, as these were very nicely designed.

The M3 16mm bolts for the blower fans are optional, they are not really needed as the fans push and lock into place and are held quite firm, I may remove them on a future version.

Current part list required:

• 1 x M3 x 6mm Butten Head Bolt
• 1 x M3 x 14mm Socket or Button Head Bolt
• 2 x M3 x 8mm Socket or Button Head Bolts
• 2 x M3 T-Nuts to suit 2020 Extrusion
• 4 x M3 x 16mm Button Head Bolts (Optional)
• 6 x M3 x 4 to 5mm Threaded Inserts (2 Required, 4 Optional)
• 2 x 5015 GDStime Dual Ball Bearing Blower Fans or Sunon Maglev
• 1 x JST-XH 2 Pin Female Connector (You will also need a male one with some cable to connect to your control board for power)
• 1 Bag of Activated Carbon Pellets
• 2 x 250mm Lengths off 26g UL1332 Rated Wire (Only if you want to replace the PVC coated stuff)

This was printed in our NexGen Pro ABS-CF and was installed in our Prototype NexGen 3Dimension-200 CoreXY 3D Printer.

Printed at 300mm/s using a default Bambu Labs X1C Profile in Orca Slicer.

I will update links to where you can purchase individual parts soon, and I will also be offering these pre-built loaded with filter medium if you would like to just buy one instead of making it yourself.
