This is a clamp with magnets in it that helps keep tools handy. The clamp model contains a cavity, so a holder for the magnets can fit snuggly inside. The magnet holder is thinner than the cavity on two sides to allow for easier removal if needed. This came up clutch for me at times when I got the polarity backwards. The magnets I used are 20 x 3mm neodymium magnets. While one will fit perfectly, I put two together in each holder to make a stronger magnetic field.
Although the whole purpose of my project was to make a magnetic clamp, curiosity got the best of me. I wanted to see if I could make attachments for the clamp. I decided to make a simple hook that could hold headphones. While the hook attachment is successful, the bond is not strong enough to be rough when placing the headphone on it. You need to be intentional when placing them on. Because of this limit with the strength of the magnetic bond, I decided to not make anymore attachments beyond the hook.

This is a remix of my Desk Mount Portable Monitor Holder / Mount / Clamp which itself is a remix of Mistertech's Desk Mount Headphone Holder / Mount / Clamp. The stl for the screw I use for these clamps is found on his page.
