Noctua Quiet Soldering Fume Extractor

This extractor is designed to increase the static pressure of the airflow to pull air from further than the fan by itself.

We choose the Noctua NF-A12x25 5v fan in order to leverage its USB functionality. Technically any 120mm x 25mm fan will work, but you can't beat a fan this quiet.
With this fan we are able to extract from ~4" (120mm) from the opening through a carbon filter. 

You can use the filter as a cutting template for the carbon filter material. 

You will need:
Noctua NF-A12x25 5v
4x M3 heat set inserts
4x M3x30mm Screws
1/8"(3mm) Carbon FIlter Sheets
