My Y axis motor got really hot during long prints in a chamber.
Now planning to do the same with X motor as it suites there perfectly too.
I designed a simple bracket to hold radial fan next to aluminium radiator glued to the motor with double sticky tape.
Design is inspired by blower style coolers for graphics cards where the radial fan moves the air through the aluminium fins of the radiator, not like others that use axial fans and blows the air onto the aluminium radiator. Power could be connected directly to the PSU or using the step down converter to make it quiter.
There are two options, one with cutouts and another one with guides along whole radiator length. Second one has slightly better static pressure, but the first one has less annoying sound pitch.
