The EQ5 azimuth bolt knobs are hard to turn and hurt my fingers in the cold.
I bought a pack of M6x50mm carriage bolts with nuts but couldn't find a bolt knob model that exactly fitted my needs, so I made my own.
This bolt knob supports a carriage bolt with a 6mm M6 shaft, a 6x6x5mm square neck and a 16mm-wide head.
50mm bolts are only just long enough for the full range of Az motion in the EQ5 without the knob hitting the frame. Should be fine for most purposes, but 55mm bolts might be a bit more comfortable. The original bolts are M6x45mm.
Printed in PETG, 0.2mm, 4 perimeters and 20% infill.
