Canopy - Desk Accessory Stand

Canopy opens up the space above your desk to endless possibilities.

Canopy is designed around the 1-¼" (32mm) wooden dowel.  Included is a set of bases to attach to a desk, and a set of attachments that use a locking split-ring for a tool-free, no-hardware installation.

Want to use the locking split-ring on any model?  Use the Canopy_CuttingTool model to cut the fitting from any model using your slicer/CAD program of choice.  Add the #canopydeskstand tag so everyone can find your models!

Bases

• Desk Wire Grommet - supports 2" - 2.75" diameter holes
• Desk C-Clamp - supports desk thickness ~0.5" - 1.65"
  • >5perimeters and >40% infill recommended and print orientation is critical for strength and rigidity.  See Canopy_BaseCClamp_Project.3mf for orientation and suggested settings for 0.4mm nozzle.

Testing Fit

1. Print a Canopy_SplitRing and Canopy_TestFit 
2. Slide the Canopy_SplitRing over the dowel with thick side facing down.
3. Slide the Canopy_TestFit over the dowel with the beveled interior facing down
4. Line up the vertical ridges on the Canopy_SplitRing with the mating cavity of the Canopy_TestFit 
5. Push parts together.
