I think I’m going to take some time cleaning out the details but as is it’s almost ready to use.
Big up for the uploader/scanner as dith this model we’re 90% there already

@SinJun still priming and sanding but entirely cleaned up, and fitting perfectly now
next is wet sanding to 600 grid then finishing paint

Could you possibly post the step or f3d files in here also? If you did, the size would be preserved in modeling software.

A bit rough, I had to print at an odd angle with lots of supports due to 256x256x256 build volume. The bottom edge is very rough because of the angle as well. The entire outside needs to be smoothed out, trying to retain the detail just makes it look pretty awful. Works well tho! Going to make modding the case far less painful, :)

@DesignGears_1076368 I did the same -ish but the difference is that for me there was really only 1 layer sticking to the bed so only 1 wide I think at the 2 far ends.

so tilt it so it's a bit leaning forward with the supports being on the inside of the shell

Freaking awesome man! Hope there will be companies comin up with clear or black cases :D

Wow this is a perfect scan of the ROG Ally. Thank you so much. Would you be able to tell me what 3d scanner you used to get such a clean result? I have a revopoint pop2 and it's been difficult to get anything even near usable.

@DarkK3y_110680 Do you have any suggestions on what brand sprays I could buy that won't damage things like the ally? Thanks so much for all the tips!

@ChrisManganar_971070 Its pretty hard to answer. I dont know which Products are available in youre Country. I would try to get someting without ethanol /(and adamantane) and Residue-free sublimation so you dont have to clean and disasamble everything. You need to try the Spray on a tiny spot for material compatibility. Try to Spray a thin coat (like spray painting) until you got all shiny parts covert. =)
