Space Bag Adapter for Vacuums (like Dyson)

We had some Space Bag brand vacuum storage bags that weren't sealing so well to the available fittings for our Dyson handheld vacuum because the “hinge” of the valve was getting in the way.

So I designed this one to solve that problem by having a built-in “notch” to go around the hinge and allow the rest of the fitting to sit flat against the valve base.

My model fits onto a Dyson hand vac adapter I found elsewhere (https://www.printables.com/model/150047-dyson-vacuum-adapter/files) so so may want to also print that if you have a Dyson hand vac like we do.

If you have a different vacuum, you'd need a male attachment that is approximately 31.5mm in diameter.

There are many generations and variations of “Space Bags” out there. Please see my attached photo of the particular bag valve we had and for which this model was designed.

I have also used this on a few other vacuum storage bags - but YMMV with those.
