What the heck is this?

These are the parts I printed to mount modern gaming PC components into a gently modified vintage Apple II Plus case. This was a long custom build project - maybe you'll find these parts  useful, maybe not.

Why the heck are you posting these?

A reply on my PC Part Picker build page requested these parts as reference. I think that's the best way to use them, not as a guaranteed-to-work solution if you want to do the same thing. I had to do a lot of fiddling and reprinting to get my setup right, but you may want to arrange parts differently or you may use better tools to modify the case than I did, which means your mounting points may be more reliable than mine were, so the loose tolerance I built into these parts may be overkill for you.

Oooh! I want to know more!

Here's the PC Part Picker build page where I go into an exhaustive explanation of this project.

Important note:
If you want to mod any vintage Apple, Commodore, or other long-discontinued PC case, please find one that has already been gutted of all original hardware, or make a plan to make the original hardware available to someone who wants to restore it. Preservation of early home PC hardware is important to our technology history.
