I modified my Packtenna EFHW to work on 20m and 40m with a extendable link. I got the idea from a K8MRD video, but didn't care much for how he had the organization (both wires on the same winder). I've got this winders profile setup to be the same footprint as the Packtenna EFHW PCB. There are slots down the middle of the body that can be used with hook and loop ties that are ½" wide. The Velcro Products Model No. 90924 is the strap I used for prototyping (and is pictured).
I recommend printing flat with PLA as the part won't see much stress. If you work lots of portable, bright orange/yellow/green is a good color. Print time varries machine to machine, but my Ender3 can knock this out in a little under 2 hours.
The best way to setup the hook and loop is to place the eyelet of the hook and loop tape on the 3D printed part, then pass the tail up through both at the same time. Pull it tight against the body and it will minimize binding.
