This model was initaily design to attach a H4N recorder and its external battery on a 50mm round bar. As it use standard UNC screw almost any device can be attached with it (Go Pro, camera, camcorder, … )

It perfectly fit on round bar from 45mm to 60mm diameter.

Why “Almost Print in place” ?

The main part contains 4 pieces which printed at once avoid the use of support. Knob and spacer then are printed separately.

Print settings :

All Stls are already oriented. Settings below must be respected :  Internals lines were added to increase stiffness.

  • Material : ABS/ASA is best choice but it can be done with PLA
  • No support at all !
  • Line width : 0.4mm
  • layer height : 0.2mm
  • Nb of perimeters : 4
  • Top/Bottom : 5 layers

Why so many different screws ?

I design with the screws I own or recover


Assembly :

  • Put the M6 nut into the knob,
  • Insert M6 x 70 screw into the clamp main part. ensure the hex head fit the print part reservation (see picture below)

     
  • Put the knob spacer and screw the knob.
  • Then attach your Recorder, camera, … battery on the two left holes.
  • Put the foam inside the clamp
