Some time ago I got one of these mini GPS units to put on my quad after I lost the previous GPS unit in a crash. Turns out this unit is quite decent and, comparatively, pretty cheap so I'm quite happy with it.
One problematic thing was that I could not find a 3D printable mount for it so I decided to take a stab at making my own. Towards achieving this goal I took measurements and created a 3D reference model of the GPS unit and a basic GPS holder using this reference model.
You may find that the holder has a bit of a tight fit however this was done by design to make sure that the GPS unit won't eject from the holder no matter how severe a potential crash is.
The idea of the holder itself isn't to print and use as is but instead to serve as a modular “drop-in” that can be attached to custom geometry specifically tailored for your particular frame. See for example the following remix that I made for the iFlight Nazgul Evoque frame:
I'm releasing these two models to make it easier to for anyone that may want to create a custom GPS mount for this particular GPS unit.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
