These single-egg holders slot together into a tray to match the space you have available, holding more eggs than the carton your eggs came in and making it easy to see how many you have left at a glance.
There are two models; the small/medium model works great for small to medium eggs (outer diameter ≤ 42mm) on average. It'll hold large or extra large eggs fine, but if you have several of them connected with large eggs, the eggs start to cramp each other. The large/extra-large variant works for larger grocery store chicken eggs (up to 46mm diameter).
The clearance between the pins and tails (male and female ends of the connectors) makes for a friction fit without requiring force to attach pieces. If your printer over-extrudes you may need to do a little bit of sanding or hit the pins with a file briefly, but well tuned printers shouldn't require this (especially with elephant-foot compensation on).
