My truck camper's electric happijac corner jack caps (say that 5 times fast!) started cracking and going to hell. I didn't want water getting into the gearset so I modeled some new ones to replace the old crusties.
The part number on the original caps is a Caplug CC-8 which are made out of LDPE. Not great at UV resistance so no wonder they broke down.
I was looking for a balance between rigidity and flexibility so I printed mine out of Polypropylene which unfortuantely also has bad UV resistance, but whatever, it's what I had on hand--I'll see how long they last and print more if needed. These fit snugly so you definitely want to use a plastic that has some compliance or you might risk cracking them when you remove them. If someone has a good UV-resistant yet slightly flexible plastic suggestion that is also reasonably water-tight, please let me know in the comments.
I have happijac model 4160s on my truck camper--I'm assuming these are a pretty generic size and would fit most of their other models.
