In this gearbox, turn the first gear 1024 times to make the last gear turn once.

You will need to print 1 main body, 10 main gears, 1 last gear, 2 caps, and 1 spacer (you don't need the spacer but it helps reduce the friction between the first gear and the main body). You can print the axles, but I recommend just buying 5mm metal rods from your local hardware store and cutting them to 110mm length because the printed ones are not that rigid and can flex making the gears skip teeth.

To assemble, insert one of the axles into the bottom hole of the main body and put five of the main gears on the axle, then insert the end of the axle into the notch on the opposite side of main body, and finally secure it in place with one of the caps at the entrance hole.  Next, insert the remaining axle into the top hole, add the spacer first, and then add 5 of the main gears placed in between the gears on the lower axle. Next, add the last gear and insert the axle into the notch. Secure the top axle in place with a cap at the entrance hole, and your done!

Enjoy spinning gears from the middle gears and note the different speeds achieved.
