I have severe CPS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) that resulted in severe tendonitis in my wrist and arm. One of the exercises that the physical therapist recommended was twisting my arm while holding onto a handle attached to a rotating disk.  I did not have access to this device at home, so I built one from scratch.

If you are going to be using this, please consult with your physical therapist first and get him/her to teach you how to use it. I don’t claim that this is useful, nor do I claim that it may cure anything.  Use at your own risk.

If you want to assemble this, you will need:

  • 2 (two) disk magnets 10mm diameter and 3mm thick
  • 2 (two) 608 Ball Bearing Roller Bearing (22 mm diameter with an 8mm hole)
  • 3 (three) 5mm Heat Set Inserts for M3 screws (5mm wide and 5mm high)
  • 3 (three) M3 Socket Head Screws 15mm in length
  • 1 (one) 8mm in diameter and 15mm long steel rod

You can see how this is assembled and how this works in the video:
