It is rare that curtains or drapes hang perfectly straight and always stay neatly closed.
I designed this magnet holder to be attached to the back of each curtain seam. We used a loose thread loop – but it could probably be attached with a pin or Velcro.
The design can use any common size round magnet. It is easily changed in the parameters. It will likely work with magnets from 6x1 up to 15x3. I used 15x2 and also included a file for 10x2.
There is a big loop on each end for the attaching. The idea is to use a loose stitch so the holders can shift as necessary to seek a good spot – so you don’t have to be exact and they will still hang together well.
I don’t know how well the pictures will show, but the holders are meant to be attached on the back side of each curtain half – so they don’t show. The magnets are strong enough to do the job through the fabric seem.
Mine printed with a very snug fit, but you may use a drop of glue to put the magnet in the holder. I suggest you orient the holders so the thin plastic behind the magnets are towards each other – otherwise one magnet might pull the other one out of the holder.
