The Bambu Lab printers are very dark inside. I purchased this basic selfie light ring from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088FK5PDW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details to improve vision inside the printer. The light is very inexpensive and works very well. But after placing it on top of the top glass it created quite a glare around the sides. This cover hides the ring and removes the glare. I have had no troubles with the lidar or extrusion checking due to the increased light. It is a tight fit when sliding the left piece of the cover on due to the bump-out on the light but it does fit. This is a simple tab into pocket design.
I printed mine with 6 wall loops (perimeters) using a height modifier when printing the wall above the floor. This creates solid walls and you don't see any infill from the light shining through the cover. I also used a tree support to support the bridge created from the cutout for the bump-out.
The pictures show the cover installed and without the cover to show the glare from the light. The other pictures show the build space with and without the light. The camera adjusts for light conditions but trust that this simple light makes a big difference.
