About this little tool:
I needed something at least 25mm in length to assist me installing and removing LM8UU bearings from my printed parts with very tight clearances. I used to push the bearing against a table and then to center it, I pushed it with the back side of a screw driver, which has worked with great results, but after messing up a few bearing seals, a few cuts, bruises and loads of swear words later, I quickly designed this simple model and it has been working a treat. It also saves the bearing seal from damage, ask me how I know, lol.

Print settings:

  • Layer Height: 0.2-0.25
  • Recommended Infill: 50% or higher if your clearances are as tight as mine, nothing less then 50% rectilinear infill will do
  • Material: I printed mine in Wanhao PLA and it has been holding up nicely
  • Walls: 4 walls
  • Top/Bottom: 4 Top and 4 Bottom layers

You are welcome to remix this if you need it taller or shorter, but the 25mm length is perfectly enough for my use at current.

EDIT: I noticed I forgot to add the step file, it is now included.
