Bird Buddy Bath

A bird bath version of the smart Bird Buddy Feeder. It fits the standard Bird Buddy camera module.

The bath is made up of 4 parts; the bath, the camera module, and two parts for the roof. The model is printable with minimal support. The parts need to be glued together.

The Bird Buddy camera module fits in the camera holder, to activate the camera module you'll need to glue in a magnet. The camera holder has a cutout for a 18mm (diameter) by 2mm (height) magnet. It also has a screw hole like the standard Bird Buddy to firmly secure the camera module.

Version 2 of the model has some improvements:

• slightly wider and deeper;
• includes an optional bridge which should encourage bird to sit in front of the camera;
• thicker and thus smooth bottom (no visible mounting points from above).

Version 2 is compatible with the camera holder and mounting parts from the first version.

The model also includes parts for a modular mount that can be extended/modified to fit your needs. The bigger mount aligns better with the center of gravity improving stability. Both (small and large) mounts can be attached to the arm.

The screw holes in the bottom of the bath are and 3.2mm deep and 3.7mm in diameter which fit M4 screws. Mind the length of your screws and be careful with screwing on the mount as you could damage the bottom of the bath. The mounting arm and pin also screw together with an M4 screw.
