…Please be sure to hit like & post a make, I'd love to see your prints!
Here's my over engineered Y Axis captive mount for the Fysetc Portable Input Shaper ADXL345 USB C Accelerometer bed mount.
It's designed for ANY PRINTER with a PEI covered beds of no more than 6mm deep total. Glass surfaces won't fit here!
Keep your printer bed undamaged by using this captive clamping system.
No bolts screw down onto your bed, the clamping block does not fall out of the body!
NOTE: If using on an SOVOL SV06 or SV06 Plus you MUST place the mount directly over the blue adjuster wheel - see photo!!
NOTE: Your printer must be setup well & be very accurate - SMALL DETAILS!!
Print PLA @ 0.2mm layer height or smaller.
Print standing upright on its end with supports added inside the body opening. Make sure your support settings are easy to remove, leaving a bad review because you can't remove your supports is not cool. This STL prints perfectly like this.
Once printed, gently & carefully pop the block into the body with the tabs at the bottom & slight rounded corners to the open side. Slip one side in first then pop the other down trying not to damage the print.
You'll need:
2x M3 SHORT heat inserts
2x M3 Regular heat inserts
2x M3 8mm cap heat bolts for lower clamp
2x M3 4mm cap head bolts for upper mounting
oh & don’t tighten the bolts when the clamp is empty or you’ll pop the block out
I have two X axis mounts for the Biqu H2V2/S extruder as well.
