Universal tripod wall hanger

A tripod hook to hang a tripod, monopod or anything with a mount plate to a wall to save precious photographer's space ;)

Every photographer should have a tripod, some have two and, you know, some of us just buy every nice photography gadget found O:-)

If you're like me and need to store those things somewhere to save some space, here is the solution a wall/cabinet mounted hook to hang your stuff! 

Personally tested on some Vanguard, Gorilla, Ulanzi and Rollei tripods/monopods ranging from 1kg up to almost 3kg. But don't rely on these numbers without testing it first! The load capacity will depend on material and number of perimeters. 

There is premodeled support for the hook as the model is supposed to be printed on it's side for better strength. A variable layer height is recommended as well as more than 3 perimeters. 

You can choose the gap for head stem from 30mm up to 50mm. Overall dimensions are still the same, so you can stack them together on the wall in regular grid ;)

To fix this nifty gadget on the wall you should use two screws and if you want, support them with some double sided tape - stick the hanger with the tape and then pre-drill and screw the bolts in.

Don't forget to block the seam where vertical mounting plane goes to the horizontal hook part! This will improve overall strength. The included 3mf file shows approximately how to set the seam-blocking.
