Wide Mouth Canning Jar Band/Ring

A printed replacement of wide mouth canning jar bands/rings (hold canning lids in place).

I needed a solid platform to make other threading designs and lid inserts for wide mouth jars.  Example custom canning lid: Cat Grass - Growing Kit - Wide Mouth Canning Jar

NOTE: not water tight threading!  To achieve water-tight seal use a canning lid w/ rubber gasket.

Changes from original model

• fit standard Kerr/Ball canning lids inside ring
• increased thickness of ring to improve print quality (alternating between perimeter only and perimeter + infill of thickness of the ring where threads were caused poor print quality for me)
• chamfers for more reliable printing
• knurling for grip

• Brim: (Optional) Not required on calibrated printers
