Crossbow bolt body for pistol crossbow
I broke my crossbow bolt. The metal tip was still good so I made this replacement arrow body.

The tips from the purchased ones are suitable, I printed in ABS and my tips was slightly warped, but model is fine.
can someone tell me the od diameter of the bolt tip, or id diameter of arrow head i need?
would've wished there was a version with a hole at the tip to inser a nail or something similar, (I don't have these caps) U ended up drilling small (very asymetrical) holes in them and screwing the tip of a sharz screw in. it flies and it penetrates, so I guess it worked out :p
Any chance you allow remix culture and include a 3D file to modify?
I bought bolts that are 60% aluminum tube and 40% plastic part with wings. You can imagine the plastic wings break off easily, so I'd only need to print that plastic piece.
If you won't allow remixing, any chance I sent you the exact dimensions and you'll add that version yourself?

How could he have uploaded the model without a 3d file for you to modify? :D you sound like you are just so excited and new here lol, i can tell ur gonan be a helfpul person helping us to make our boyhood dreams of telporting sci fi tools into our homes. i also agree on remixing this. i wanna try printing these and adding a hole for like, a bolt or nail or screw to make them easier to be metal tiops etc, or metal skelaton down the center, or use my bamboo in my backyared to make sticks to fit on heads and tails etc.
