Voron V0.2 ADXL345 Mini Afterburner Mount

INTRODUCTION

When tuning a 3D printer input shaper is key to reduce ghosting or ringing as people call it. To do this we need to install an accelerometer (ADXL345 in this case) to measure resonance and account for it when printing.

THE DESIGN

This design was designed by Justin for the V0.1 but I had to extend the arms to go around the toolhead board that comes with the V0.2 kit. Credit go to Justin for this one.

BOM

This is intended to be printed in ABS or ASA. If you plan to print and tune then remove the it can also be printed in PLA. Additional parts required are: -

1. 2 x heatset inserts
2. 2 x M3x6 screws to hold to ADXL to the mount
3. 2 x M3x25 screws to replace the 2 M3x6 screws that holds the toolhead board in place.
