Rear Axle Mod for RMRRF Top Fuel Dragster

This is a remix of the rear axle from this model. 

To complete this mod, you must be able to tap eight m5 threads into the flange coupling.

We found it tedious to balance the rear wheels of our original car build due to the uneven nature of some of our hastily printed parts…specifically the 3d printed adapter which wanted to bulge when we put the heat sets in. This Mod removes the need for that adapter which will also will make it easier to balance the rear wheel, and removes several items from the original bill of material.

The included PDF is for the new axle size. The axle needs to be slightly longer than the original since we are no longer using the 3d printed adapters from the original build.

The new outer wheel hub has been modified for m5 flat head screws. You still need the inner wheel hub from the original car build.

You will no longer need the m4 heat sets or the m4 screws from the original BOM. You can use the metal flange coupling from the original BOM but it will be difficult to Tap.
