Meet the PickleWhoop V2, it's a tiny FPV cinematic frame with carbon prop guards for slow and proximity flights … but it comes out it can freestyle too if you really need :)
I wanted something that's easy to build and to produce so i gave up on printable ducts. Those are heavy and requires specific materials for the best results. So here only carbon, just to prevent propellers to hit something or someone.
The V2 frame have been rethought to be way easier to build with a single standoff size needed and less part. It's slightly lighter than the original version with the same best in class flight behaviour and usability.
I worked to simplify the building of the frame. Now it uses a single prop guard and a single standoff size of 20mm (there were 3 different and uncommon sizes in the v1). The frame gets slighty lighter by side effect. It's stil thought for xx04 motors (the prop comes in the right place for the guard to protect it) but xx05/6 motors should work too.
The unit must be installed flush on the bottom plate (use longer M1.6 screws, 8 or 10mm, in replacement of the stock ones) or use just some VHB tape. The TPU spacer allows to sink the plate and unit by 3.5mm. This size still allows access to the usb port and SD Card.
The space between front standoffs is now 27mm instead of 26mm, that allows a better dampening for the O3 as the cam doesn't touch anymore the mount sides, it floats on its screws only.
Mount it upside down, you need 4 M2x5mm screws to attach it on the bottom plate. Seat it flush on the plate. The TPU spacer have a cutout to have access to the SD Card slot.
The frame is intended to have a low profile of 20mm between standoffs.
for a 6mm between guards and 18mm from plate to plate (it fits a naked vista) you need :
My recommended places are [www.cncmadness.com] (CA/US/Worldwide) and [www.carbon-posten.de] (EU/Germany), [CNC DRONE 91] (EU/France), [Haut Var FPV] (EU/France), [CNC Dupays] (EU/France). Great quality cuts and fair pricing/delivery time.
you need to send the provided DXF files with the following instructions :
You can optionally ask for countersunk holes on the top plate and have your screws sitting flush (center and rear holes eventually).
Feel free to ask me for directions and help.

This version is simpler. A single prop guard and same size standoffs.
