This remix of Ryan1705's Kiwi print splits the kiwi into two halves so that it prints without supports. The two halves join together with printed dowels. I've also scaled it up to 200% so the small details would be more robust on my FDM printer.
I printed this in black PLA, sprayed it with two coats of matte black paint, allowed it to dry overnight, then used a cotton rag to lightly apply some "old gold" Rub N Buff to the surface. I will later seal it up with a clear satin sealant spray.
Use 0.1mm layer height or similar.
The dowels should be printed with 8 perimeters (i.e. fully solid).
The head should be printed with 3 or 4 perimeters.
The tail should be printed with 2 perimeters to make the model less back-heavy.
