Description

PDF

Recently I received some strips of RGB lights. A few days after putting them up I found myself loosing the remote quite often. I needed a simple, good looking, remote holder to stop me losing the remote in future. I hopped online and couldn't find any good ones so got to work designing one up in fusion 360. I even attempted making it parametric so use that at your own risk. The provided .stl's worked well enough for me though.

Please consider leaving a like as it means a lot to me, 2 seconds of your time for 20 minutes of mine seems like a good deal.

Update Log:

Date: 24/12/20

  • Added a version 2 of the "case back" with tighter clearances and 2 holes for some countersunk screws. The diameter of the holes is modelled at 3.5mm. If you need them bigger / smaller then drop me a comment. Also updated the print file with the new "case back". Warning: This updated model has not been tested be me yet, if it works well for you please let me know !

Print instructions

Printer: Prusa MINI

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2

Infill: 20%

Filament: Prusament PLA / PETG

Additional Comments:

The dimensions of the uploaded .stl files are optimised to be printed at 0.2mm layer height. The pre-sliced file is also at 0.2mm.

I printed mine in PLA for the back of the holder and PETG for the front. This is just because I wanted it in 2 colours.

Happy Printing !
