Acknowledgements: This item is totally inspired by the splendid efforts of MXRR (see box below). Those items worked perfectly well - but I have big fat fingers and found them very fiddly!
Design: I modified the OpenSCAD code for my M3 nut screw heads (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2530144), enlarging it a bit and adding a cavity for the Sculpfun fixing screws.
At the moment they seem to work well - I have yet to prove whether they will get in the way on very large jobs, at the limits of the Y axis (not expected).
Note: If you want to play with the OpenSCAD code then you will have to download the library from ThingiVerse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1305888). I renamed this library file to chamfer.scad for convenience.
08/02/2022 - LATE UPDATE! When I put these on my Sculpfun S9 I found that the top of the knob barely cleared the X-axis driveshaft - I have reduced the height by 1mm to give a little extra clearance.
