Mounty McMountface

This mount allows Creality Ender 3 S1 series printer users to replace stock screen with Raspberry Pi 4 and WaveShare 4.3" DSI Touchscreen to use it with Klipper.

Printing

Make sure that you have calibrated your printer to be dimensionally accurate. Everything else doesn't matter much. I printed mine with 15% gyroid infill, 0.2mm layer height and 0.6mm nozzle. I've used PLA. Please note that honeycomb pattern might caused a lot fo stringing with some filaments.

Installation

Please make sure that your Raspberry Pi and WaveShare screen are assembled and you have original screws and hardware on hand before the installation.

1. Remove stock screen and its mount, but keep two original screws - you will need them.
2. Align WaveShare screen standoffs with the screw holes on Mounty McMountface's platform. Raspberry Pi USB ethernet ports should face straight corner of the platform.
3. Secure your assembly with the screws which came with the screen. Make sure not to overtighten the screws!
4. Align Mounty McMountface with Ender 3 S1 screw holes.
5. Use 2 original screws to secure Mounty McMountface on your printer. Make sure not to overtighten the screws!
6. Plug the wires as required.
7. Enjoy!
