I typically would hang the filament I am currently printing on the holder that came with the Anycubic Kobra Neo, that is until I got my Sunlu S1 filament dryer. Reddit was right, drying my filament made a HUGE difference in my prints. The only problem now was how to guide the filament to my direct drive print head without causing a mess of cords and tangles?

For PLA and PETG I had success simply draping it over the spool holder and letting the drive gears do their thing, but trying to print TPU today I saw that it tended to “bind” on the plastic and would start causing the gears to strip the filament and the print would fail.

I jumped in Fusion360 and created this little roller to go over the top of the spool holder arm, and it works perfectly.

NOTE: I had to scale up 104% as my first print that was measured to fit encountered a bit of “shrinkage” and JUST BARELY didn't fit over the arm.
