PLEASE READ:  The frame for the grips is pretty tight and one of the tabs might poke your USB or SD card ports when you put the frame on. Its also a bit of a tough one to take off, so I have to push on the tabs near the joystick on the left side with my thumb.  Be careful taking this one on and off, I made it tighter with the intent to basically put it on and rarely take it off. With the joysticks attached its even less flexible to take on and off so… If you put it on and glue the joysticks on there's a non zero chance you're gonna be cutting the PLA to get it off. The joysticks also tend to fit much looser before you put it on the laptop so test the fit both on and off of the device, before sanding anything like that.

Conveniently, and unintentionally, the V1 pictures are all black filament and the V3 ones are blue, in case you were wondering which is which.

So I took the lovely model put together by Tåkefyrsten and chopped the bottom half off, added another clippy thingy by the buttons and joystick. I changed the shape of the tabs a little as well.  I dropped the height of the tabs by the controls as well, so the grip frame fits tighter on the device, and loosened the rails a teeny bit so I can take the controller grips on and off easier.  It seems pretty dependent on the print how the tolerances turn out though so be prepared with sandpaper or glue depending on if they are too loose or tight.

With the controllers I made them longer, and brought the back piece(sits against the laptop back) in a bit so it didn't interfere with the back buttons on the laptop.

This is my first shot 3D modeling anything, and I basically just extruded faces and deleted some vertices in blender, so if something is weird or done wrong please let me know, so I can learn and fix it for next time :)

PLA, 20% infill (not that there's very much infill anyways) .2mm layer height. Use supports for the tabs and rails for sure, and print the controllers upside down (slot up) so they don't need supports for the rail bits (I oriented them upside down already but just so ya know why).

This covers the side USB, SD/MicroSD, SSD, and Cellular module ports.  It leaves the speakers, power button, fans, rubber feet, etc all exposed. It also leaves all back ports open and free. V3 allows you to put the magnetic controller covers on. While V1 works, it has them sitting on the printed frame like a fraction of a mil up.  Still magnetically pretty stuck on there, but annoyingly not flush. So V3 is flush.

Version Changes:

V2 - we don't talk about that one. . . I made a lot of mistakes learning blender and kind of slowly killed it, so I started over and redid a lot of changes for V3

V3 - Clips are thinner, rails are a bit better tolerance wise, but you probably still need some sanding or adhesive depending on your specific printer, just remember that getting the grips on and off is harder when the frame is on the device, though with this version I can get the frame off with the grips slid on, its just quite a process.

Added a strip between the top two clips for more support, and made the bottom clip match the other two in having a slant in it. I raised the rails, so the controller grips now sit almost flush with the top of the frame, and it feels more comfy to me to hit the triggers. I also really did a lot of measuring and cleaning up the blender model, and figured out how to mirror it so I can pinky promise its symmetrical this time(probably, don't sue me). If anybody is wondering, the space between the rail and controller grip surfaces are around .2mm, which I found results in a fit that is hard to get on and off, but doesn't slide when you're playing on the laptop as a result.  If you like a looser fit, and you don't mind the sliding if you hold it up by the grips, sand away.  No changes to the grips yet because I mostly want to change them to slide on from the bottom but I have no idea how to do that… yet…

P.S. Thanks for reading this whole thing, wow.  Also is your pet's water bowl freshly filled?  Give that lil critter a drink!
