Estes Model Rocket Stands for Goblin and Der Red Max Kits

This is a variation on UnknownPro's Goblin stands (which I use).  There are lots of stands out there but the aesthetics of this one brings joy to my dark and dreary world.  

However, I don't build rockets with motor clips (Friends don't let friends build rockets with motor clips), and the ring for my retainers is always too small, so I have to hang it off the pole meant for the MMX version.  

I have done a couple of things with this:

• I beefed up the base of the tower b/c I had one break on me.  Probably me being dumb and not using enough infill
• I thinned the shaft so that it would accommodate my motor retainer ring.  This should still work for motor clip users (you know who you are) albeit a little loose.
• I added an Iron Cross medal for the Red Max version.  I know it's not the same as the Red Max decals but I like the WWI version better.
• I created a version to fit the 18mm motor (with motor retainer).  Fitment applies the same as the larger one.  

I plan to modify another Red Max to use a 24mm motor mount so I wanted options.

I have not printed these yet but I need them both right now, so I will update this description with the results and modify the design if I have any issues.

If you love the Estes Der Red Max and/or the Goblin, but want something with a little more “sport” to it, check our my builder's kits:  Goblin Extreme and Red Max Extreme – both with 29mm Motor Mount Tubes and Motor Retainers.  No Engine clips (yuck).
