This jig allows you to hold the tube in position while its front face is made orthogonal to its axis.
The upper clamp must be approached to the tube so as to keep it adherent to the V but with the possibility of making it advance and also rotate slowly.
Before using it, the tool must be positioned at 90° with the machine in both direction.
I used self-threading bushings for the two screws that hold the tube tight, the use of heated bushings is better.
For pipes that have diameters from 20 to 40.
For obvious reasons, the results may not be like those of a lathe, but with a little patience, more than excellent results can be obtained without having a lathe.
