I took the factory hotend mount model and remodeled it to accept the X gantry Voron Clockwork 2 left and right mounts. Since the SV06 has its own probe and uses sensorless homing I removed unneeded geometry for belts, probe mounts etc. Simplified the mount since its a block type modular mounting spot anyway. You can use stock or modded Stealburner toolheads will bolt up no problem, including hotend locator screws. You need the standard 4 heatset inserts for the normal mounting and two M3x8 for the locator screws.
I also remixed the 19mm ADXL mount and fitting the stock Probe mount to it, clearing X axis homing while staying close enough to the nozzle to keep offsets for probing human. I also made sure the stealthburner clears the upper gantry and can reach all printable areas of the bed. You will need to change some config settings for offsets but its minimal.
IF you are like me I have already converted to Klipper, have the correct harness to run to the breakout pcb for the SB install. The mount will remove the stock PCB, so if you want to torture yourself with the existing connections and teeny jsts knock yourself out lol.
I also included the step files along with the stls. (note the sovol logo in front of the center neopixels! Why this mod? Cause I can =) I like to be able to swap out hotends for a Rapido HF, or a Revo Voron, or whatever I can print the hotend parts for….
So hurry up and print out your very own Vorendersolvwire today lol
p.s. incase you are wondering why I embossed e3d in the prints my gamer handle, and discord name is Eclypse3d =)
[update]
I have added the cable cover door that is modified to clear the mount, note you may need to print this normal orientation but may have to add supports as the section removed needed to clear the mount is a 90 degree overhang. If you do, you will probably need to sand off .5mm of material if the support material does not come off cleanly. Note this is the Cameron from LDO's modification its a slightly larger more open cable door, designed to clear the afterburner toolhead PCB used in some SB builds, I use it for all my stealthburner setups because I like the extra 2 or so mm of space for wires to not get jammed tight. =)
[update 13May24]
Added Z block re-print of molded Z rod block on gantry to allow more room for max height gantry clearance. You can place on plate, and scale it to match your dimensions, different filaments will shrink etc. 55.5mmx69.5mmx16.5mm is the rough stock dimensions. I edited the .stl file from Sovol which is based on the molded part step file. I did not need to make a left side block for my SV06 as the SB clears the that side. IF you wanted to match and get the most clearance you can mirror the print on the final plate before printing. They are identical on both sides. 4 perimeters, 5 top and bottom layers .02 layer height infill 40%
*Note this is for the SV06 only. You are free to mod it for other models SV06+ etc. The linear rod may be tight squeeze into the new part when you shrink it down to fit, you can probably mitigate that by adding .25mm to one of the dimensions listed above so make like length 69.75mm instead of 69.5mm and leave uniform scale checked or you will mess with the rest of the dimensions and it will not fit where it belongs. It is ok to be .25 over under should be fine but you want the rod not to move so not too loose.
[update 15May24]
Added pics of upcoming model update to mounting block. Tomorrow I have a Btt eddy current probe coming and will test its mount position etc. I will also include the required .cfg entries needed in klipper config. If its as accurate as my beacon is on my trident it will be a huge step up from the stock inductive probe.
[update] on 3rd revision new mount with omron format probe support. Eddy probe from btt fits nicely and on last set of holes is within the 2-3mm from bed. Will work well. In order to make the probe work the sliding cover that is the face that the hot end and PCB board bolt to has to be modified or remodeled to remove a small 15mm tab that is at the bottom middle of the model. I believe that tab is sort of a guide locator for the stock PCB mount that mounts inside behind the stock hot end. Its not really need it is just overthinking a tab that you really do not need because you have mount threaded inserts you have to screw into anyway. It is probably to make manufacturing easier for assembly speed. If you do not care about it, you can dremel if off, or like I did (will include the stl) I just removed that model. From the Step file its a separate part anyway so it was easy to remove.
[updates 19MAY24]
Added STL and Step files for updated mount plate with Omron style probe support with two mount positions. I did not do the slider holes like the stock voron, because there is limited space in the gantry mount for extra mounting hardware (like the Voron SB mount has a cross bar with two heatsets and a indent in the back of the mount, cannot do that with the SV06 because it would mean you have to push the probe forward which prevents mounting the SB hotend mount flush, and you do not want to move that further away from the gantry to get it to work, as you change your print area, and its not good to move weight away from gantry.
I added the real hotend mount (stealthburner_printhead_revo_voron_rear_cw2_with_cutout) for lockwork 2 and revo voron, it adds a 3mm cutout on the mount side to clear SHCSs that mount the probe.
