Compatibility Note
I'm not sure if the same stand mounts are used across the Hisense product lines, or if it is only a small subset of TVs.
Other mounts (for another soundbar or different accessory) can be designed to attach to the same base plate adapters. I've included step files for remixing and you can view the original in Onshape here.
The only combo I've tested is my Hisense 50U6G TV with the JBL Bar 2.1 - Deep Bass Soundbar. For this soundbar model the mounting points are 27.5 inches apart ~700mm.
Printing
- Material: Use a modified (pro) PLA, PETG, PA, or comparable material. The rigidness of virgin PLA resin can cause buzzing and stress cracks.
- Stand Mount Adapters should be printed with the flat side down.
- Soundbar Adapters should be printed with the large flat side down. There is enough chamfer on the overhangs that supports are not required.
Bill of Materials
- (4) M3x5x7 heat set inserts
- (4) M3x12 flat head screws
If you're using the original mounts then:
- (2) M4x8 heat set inserts
- (2) M4x16 screw
Assembly
- Print the Stand Mount Adapter files and insert two M3 heat set inserts in each.
- Mount the adapters to the TV using the screws that came with the original stands.
- Print the Soundbar Adapter files.
There are two options for mounting the soundbar:
- Use the original slotted mounts (better isolation)
- Insert 1 M4 heat set insert into each mounting part.
- Attach the provided slotted wall mounts to the brackets using M4 screws
- Attach the mounting screws to the back of the soundbar and slide the soundbar into place
- Screw the brackets directly to the soundbar (untested but lower profile)
- Do not use the heat set inserts.
- Drive (#6 I think) screws from the back of the adapter directly into the mounting holes on the soundbar
