Decided to do my own filament storage system. You need to print two end pieces, and as many filament guides as you need.
This is the box I used ($10.99): https://www.target.com/p/sterilite-54-qt-gasket-box-clear-with-blue-latches/-/A-15079778
I used a 1" dowel from Home Depot ($3.98). It is long enough for making two storage bins: https://www.homedepot.com/p/1-in-x-48-in-Wood-Round-Dowel-HDDH148/203360196
I was planning on using some M3 SHCS and a backer plate with heat-set inserts, but I just used some short drywall screws (5/8" I believe) and they work fine.
I will be getting some PTFE Tubing from Aliexpress in the coming weeks. It will go over the OD of the filament guide that protrudes through the container. The 4mm ID, 6mm OD is what I ordered: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1Meter-1mm-2mm-3mm-4mm-6mm-8mm-PTFE-Teflon-Tube-For-3D-Printer-Parts-Pipe-Bowden/32730855848.html?spm=2114.search0204.3.47.7fba4da6bW6fty&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_8_10065_10130_10068_10890_10547_319_10546_317_10548_10545_10696_453_10084_454_10083_10618_10307_537_536_10059_10884_10887_321_322_10103,searchweb201603_52,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=91f98a1e-cb31-4063-a735-385742b1cc5e-6&algo_pvid=91f98a1e-cb31-4063-a735-385742b1cc5e
Once I have the tubing, I will also make some caps so that the tube and filament is sealed off as much as possible.
