Similar size and usage. The two big side plates are now laser cut. The core is still 3D-printed, but much smaller now. It easily fits on middle sized printers like the MK3 (Original did not). If there is easy access to a laser cutter it should be also faster make. Six M4 screws and nuts are needed. The laser cut parts could be in different thickness and material, just chose a fitting screw length. I used 3mm MDF. M4x8mm (or longer) fit well with 3mm MDF. 

You need to print two Hubs and cut the sides twice to get a full masterspool.
