Polygon construction kit

This is a polygon/solid construction kit. It can be used to create the Platonic Solids, or other wonderful 3D shapes. This gives kids a great hands on experience with solids and how various shapes fit together. It's a classic mathematics manipulative.

My set comes with four shapes--a triangle, a square, a pentagon and a hexagon. They get bigger as you add sides, of course, with the hexagon being very large.

I've included a few pictures of simple constructions I made with the limited set I printed out.

I designed this in Fusion about seven years ago.  It is somewhat parametric so I've included the f3d file, but if you make the “width” parameter too small, it will break the model.

I've also included a STEP file to allow editing outside of Fusion.
