Part Purpose

I purchased a Ryobi RTS12 table saw, which includes a stand on which to place the saw. There are four feet to this stand, yet I noticed that one set of feet were not flush to the ground, which I found concerning with the table saw's vibrations. I therefore designed and modeled a foot from this stand such that all four feet will contact the ground more easily, resulting in a more stable stand.

Print Settings

I printed the foot out of PLA. These are the settings I used, but feel free to modify them to your liking. Make sure you print two feet.

Perimeters: 3

Layer Height: 0.2 mm

Infill: Gyroid, 15%

Notes

1. If you're unsure whether the foot will fit well due to your printer's calibration, feel free to print the test part “Foot Clasp Dimension Check” first and make sure that it's not too tight or loose in the stand.

2. There is a hole at the bottom of the foot so that you can relocate the piece of rubber from the original foot onto this new printed piece. While it may not be necessary, I added supports to the underside so that the bottom surface is as straight as possible, therefore allowing the rubber insert to fit well.

3. I used the rubber insert and screws from the original foot on this printed part. The holes are intentionally too small so that you can create threads when inserting the screws for the first time.
