Tetris Dice

Intro

This tetris dice was designed to play Tetris Balance (https://www.printables.com/model/147682-tetris-balance).

In this game you take a tetris piece and try to balance it on top of the base. To make the game fun I decided to create this dice so that each player's turn you roll the dice to find out which piece you should use.

How to Print

First, you need to print the file “Tetris Dice Infill.stl” with the color you want. It's not necessary to use horizontal expansion.

  • Material: PLA
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Line Width: 0.4mm
  • Wall Line Count: 3
  • Infill Density: 20%

Second, you need to print the file “Tetris Dice Body.stl” with another color for contrast. Pay attention to the instructions.

  • In Cura, configure a pause command (Pause at height) in the layer before the closing of the top.
    • Pause at: Layer Number
    • Pause Layer: 94 (if you are using the same config for layer height, here you'll probable has the same layer number)
    • Method: BQ
    • Park Print Head X: 0mm
    • Park Print Head Y: 0mm
    • Retraction: 1.0mm
    • Retraction Speed: 25mm/s
    • Standby Temperature: 200 (use the same temperature you were already using)
  • Material: PLA
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Line Width: 0.4mm
  • Wall Line Count: 3
  • Infill Density: 0%
  • Print Speed: 20mm/s (use slow print speed because of the details in each dice face)
  • Use small custom supports for the faces
  • When the print reach at layer number 94, it will pause and here you will put inside the dice infill printed before.
  • Pay attention if it fit perfectly and resume your printing.
