RC2014 boards of the same header type (standard to standard, enhanced to enhanced) can usually be attached to each other using board stand-offs.  However the stand-off holes may not be present on custom boards, or may not align if stepping from an enhanced header to a standard header or vice-versa.

This little clip is designed to hook over the edges of two boards and add a little more stability where stand-offs can't be used.  It uses a 1.8mm gap, which prints with just enough space to allow a friction fit with regular PLA.  The 17mm version is for boards standard distance apart, the other two versions are provided for where you may need to clip shorter distances (e.g. enhanced to standard).

Shown in the photo is a RC2014 Backplane Pro, and clips between Quazar's SID Interface, the YM2149F Sound Card, MG005 Speech Synthesiser and Shiela Dixon's 8x8 LED Matrix Display Module.

This was printed and designed on a Makerbot Replicator 2 at Leigh Hackspace using whatever spare green PLA was loaded in the printer, on a .4mm nozzle.
