I really liked the Dipole / Inverted V Balun Antenna Centerpiece from kaliway, but it was a bit of an overkill for a FT140-43, so here's a redesign.

Features:

  • smaller, thinner and more compact (should be less than 5-6 hours to print)
  • thinner thread for the lid
  • center mount to secure the ferrite core, with 3 holes for zip ties
  • M4 screws for the dipole wire
  • SO-239 connector
  • reinforced holes for the screws
  • more holes in the lateral arms for extra reinforcement or a dual/multi-band dipole
Due to the smaller size and restricted space, you might want to use a bifilar winding instead of the traditional "coax over ferrite" wrapping.

Can be printed with no supports.
