I've been looking at the found parts and objects of Star Wars props for a while and the radial engine cylinders from Veron radio controlled model airplanes that the designers used have fascinated me. It's such a simple element but becomes something so radically new each time it's used.

This is my take on the classic handheld C1 personal comlink device used by imperial forces as seen in Star Wars: Episode IV (A New Hope). It is not screen accurate. Instead, I aimed for ease of printing on an FDM printer.

Example: there are no vent holes along the side of the aerator. These are “faked in” by painting a thin line of paint to mimic the slot on the real thing. This prop still largely matches the dimensions of the screen used props. And most importantly, it just looks and feels cool in your hand! Does this look perfect at 6 inches? No. But from a few feet, it looks like you're about to call in some reinforcements from another detention level to flush out the rebels.

The included solid radial body is for those of you who have resin printers and can give the body a shot at printing in one go - it does not include the top and bottom fitment so you can use it in other prop applications as well.
