This is a WIP as im probably going to keep releasing a few more design's, and maybe tweak/change all together the mounting system to a clip for example to make it one part instead of two. However this setup works as is.

Original design, for the Amazing Manta Mk2 hotend shroud and parts cooler setup.

[BL touch holder (remix)] https://www.printables.com/model/230191-manta-mk2-remix-for-drag-chains Is amazing as its sturdy and holds a spot for the accelerometer.

[Manta Mk2 ender 3 edition] https://www.printables.com/model/169137-manta-mk2-duct-tool-head-system Note there is also a ender 5 or something edition! use the right one.

I like the looks of the Manta Mk2, thats the primary reason i went for it. However the BL touch probe light is a pain to my eyes, especially at night. Unfortunately there isnt a easy way to disable the probe LED's. Most of the Shrouds that you can download are more like sleeves, without any nuts/bolts to keep it in place. Or have tiny geometry that makes them a little anoying to print in ABS.

So I decided to make something that i havent seen yet, which is franky a plate that should cover the probe, and rests on the two Support_Arm's from the Manta Mk2 file. It fits the 5015 fan setup, im not sure about the other ones.

The clamping system should keep it firmly in place, using 2x M3 screws. The depth of the holes is 3mm, so its meant for the 3x5.5mm (head size) M3 hexagon socket screws. The trough holes are 3mm, so it should be a snug fit. Dont overtighten it otherwise youll strip out the plastic. Heat set inserts (what i use) are prefferable. However you should insert them at a lower temperature to stop the clamp from deforming. Due to the limited space i couldnt make M3 nut inserts as these would be too big to fit, the BL touch holder (remix) setup. As that too uses M3 nuts to secure the BL touch.

Print with supports ( for the recessed screws ) the rest shouldnt need supports.

Hex slot vents added to not choke out the fan. However even if this was closed up i doubt the fan would be choked since theres ample air intake from the top. (send me a DM if you want a flat plate without holes)

Clamp inner diameter is 10mm, as per the size of my BL touch. However i believe some knock-off's might have different sizes. Ive seen a weird one that was 6mm, that i used to design it at first. Then found out that it was a knockoff.

Reccomended material:

ABS/PETG or any material with a higher/similar glass transition temperature as the printbed temperature you will use.

Reccomended settings (not all):

Layer Height (0.12 or smaller) - for beauty if not anything. The part itself doesnt need thick layer lines for strength but if you dont want that do as you see fit.

Supports - Yes (screw holes)

Walls line count - 4

Z hop - No, i found that this messed up the overall finnish

Infill - 20-100% i use 100% it adds about 7G of weight.

Print speed - 50 (slower for well defined hexagons and fillets/chamfers) higher if your setup is rigid.

Build Plate Adhesion - Brim (4mm) Top part can lift up due to the small surface area there.

This is a WIP as im probably going to keep releasing a few more design's, and maybe tweak/change all together the mounting system to a clip for example to make it one part instead of two. However this setup works as is.

Total print time at 100mm/s and 0.10 mm layers ~ 1.5hours
