Risers for laptops. Works great on my Lenovo X1 Carbon, have not tested on other PC's.

IMPORTANT:
It's really important you check your clearance on your hinges before installing the risers. Do not force open the screen with these installed, worst case you will break of your screen. Most of you who dabble with 3d printers know this already, but I feel it's a good thing to mention anyway.

It attaches to the screen hinge, and rises the body approximately 25mm to tilt the keyboard and provide more air for cooling. Its easy to print, you can print in PLA, but I recommend PETG since it keeps the shape much better. Print 2 of these, and place on each side of the body. In my case, I got a performance increase in Red Dead Redemption 2 in the form of less throttling (using a GTX 1070 EPGU). Your experience will vary though.

My risers are 2mm thick. I will provide 1mm and 1,5mm thick ones too. Starting off I will provide 10, 20, and 25mm risers in mentioned thicknesses, the C hook has a diameter of 8,8mm. If it's loose/tight, scale it appropriatly in the slicer. Angle on the riser may differ in the pictures, the uploaded version has larger angle than the one I installed.

Print them with 3 perimeters. Other than that, I dont think theres any vital settings. I printed mine on .2 layer height. Ensure your settings are correct for the material you want to use.

Step file also provided for remixes, or if you want to resize it that way.
