Desk Lamp Wall Mount

I was given a very nice desk lamp (an Artemide Toledo to be exact) from my stepmother a few years ago and a few weeks ago I bought a new desk for my work space at home. The new IKEA Alex desk is great, it looks sleek and offers some clever cable management solutions but unfortunately there was no way to mount my beloved desk lamp. So I created this part.

This part is mounted to the wall next to my desk and I can clamp my lamp to it. I printed with 20% infill and 0.25mm layer thickness on my printrbot Simple Metal running on around 80mm/sec and it turned out very nicely.

Instructions

Printed with 20% infill, 0.25mm line height and 0.8mm wall thickness. Mounted to the wall using two 4mm screws.

Print took a little more then 3 hours. Still faster then driving to the hardware store and buy some wood.
