A tail prop that can be attached to a suet feeder. It provides larger woodpeckers with a place to rest their tail feathers to improve their balance while they are on the feeder.
No supports or additional hardware needed. Print with PETG at 0.2mm layer height. To save time and filament, the largest piece can be printed with lightning infill.
To assemble, insert the 2 hooks into the prop. They should be facing inwards. The threaded hook goes into the larger slot. Insert the bolt into the bolt hole and screw it through the threaded hook. Place the tail prop on the bottom of your suet feeder and turn the bolt until the hooks firmly hold the prop in place.
